Core Services and Optional Programs

HEALTH MART MEMBERSHIP
As part of the monthly fee specified in item 6 of the Franchise Disclosure Document, Health Mart provides you with certain Core Services, including operational, management, marketing, and merchandising support and technical expertise. Our current suite of Core Services is listed below. We are continually developing Core Services to keep Health Mart pharmacies relevant to consumers in a highly competitive environment. Health Mart reserves the right to modify part or all or part of the Core Services offerings, including discontinuation of any program or service, at its sole discretion. Health Mart also reserves the right to change the fee associated with Core Services in accordance with the Franchise Agreement.
CORE SERVICES:
- My Health Mart Web Portal, a proprietary online dashboard, provides information about various third-party programs and facilitates ordering of products from McKesson.
- Health Mart University (HMU), our online training platform built to help Health Mart pharmacies meet training needs & compliance standards, providing accredited continuing education and compliance courses for pharmacists and technicians, and drive business efficiency.
- Pharmacist’s Letter and Natural Medicines, publications of the Therapeutic Research Center, LLC, an independent advisory service on drug therapy and medication management, unaffiliated with Health Mart.
- Health Mart Purchasing Advantage, a program providing pharmacies products and services from various third party vendors offering discounts for the benefit of Health Mart franchisees.
- EQUIPP® platform, a program from Pharmacy Quality Solutions (PQS) that provides performance data, reporting, measurement, and benchmarking for key quality measures related to patient medication use.
- Bula Intelligence (“BULA”), an exclusive regulatory resource dedicated to pharmacy compliance including the BULA policy and procedures Module and Regulatory Reference Manual and timely alerts of change in laws and regulations affecting your pharmacy.
- Health Mart Digital Portfolio, a Health Mart system standard for pharmacies to maintain a web presence via a landing page providing consumers with pharmacy related information including but not limited to pharmacy locations, hours, services provided and the ability to submit refill requests and transfer prescriptions.
- Managed Care Administrative Services, Health Mart Atlas, and Atlas Specialty Pharmacy Services Administrative Organizations available if you elect to sign the Provider Participation Agreement.
- Front End Solutions, a suite of front-end management solutions, programs, and services aligning the pharmacy toward consumer needs.
OPTIONAL PROGRAMS
In addition to the Core Services, we may periodically offer certain optional programs for an additional fee. You may elect to participate in an optional program by initialing the applicable program agreement or by “opting in” to the program’s terms and conditions via your My Health Mart Web Portal account for your Drugstore. Health Mart reserves the right to periodically modify or discontinue any of the optional programs that are now in place and add new optional programs, and may charge you for your participation in such optional programs (based on our then-current fees for such optional programs) or enforce certain quality and/or execution requirements in order to be eligible to participate.
