Pharmacy Security

Security of the pharmacy is a critical concern for pharmacy owners and their employees. As the independent owner of your pharmacy, it is important that you regularly evaluate the security policies and procedures in place and educate your staff on what to do in the event of a robbery or burglary.

While no single training can guarantee that a pharmacy robbery doesn’t escalate to violence, providing your staff with robbery response training can cut the chance of a violent outcome.

RXPATROL

RxPATROL (RPattern Analysis Tracking Robberies & Other Losses ) is a program supported by Purdue Pharma L.P. It is designed to gather and disseminate critical information to help protect pharmacists, guard against potential burglary/robbery and assist law enforcement in their efforts to successfully apprehend and prosecute those involved in controlled substance pharmacy crime.
